| To prevent network congestion and to allow everyone the enjoyment of digital entertainment, the European Commission calls upon and met with the CEOs of streaming platforms, telecom operators and users to take action. Streaming platforms are encouraged to offer standard rather than high definition content, telecom operators should take mitigating measures to allow for continued traffic, and users should apply settings that reduce data consumption, including the use of Wi-Fi. |
