| In response to the spread of COVID-19 worldwide, Airtel Rwanda is making all cash transfers free on its phone plans, to discourage in-person cash exchanges that might expose people to the Coronavirus. They have also waved online transaction fees for water bill payments and given cash bonuses on electricity recharges. |
