The Spanish Government has suspended number portability for fixed and mobile operators for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision was included in Royal Decree-Law 8/2020, with a view to eliminating unnecessary procedures where physical presence of a technician is required to avoid physical contact between telecoms employees and clients. |
