| ITU and the Office of National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand worked together to support a capacity building project to enhance the skills of NBTC staff and of the telecommunication/lCT stakeholders in priority areas of new technologies (such as Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies) as well as in policy and regulatory issues pertaining to digital applications. The cooperation provided an excellent mechanism to build new resources on competition analysis in converged environment and Distributed Ledger Technologies and contributed to training of more than 110 participants in areas of competition analysis in digital applications environment and Distributed Ledger Technologies (Blockchain) ecosystem. | |
