Planning Engineer at the Sistema Telebrás from 1993 to 1998, Engineer at the Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações – ANATEL (National Telecommunications Agency) from 1998 to 2005 and Specialist in Regulation of Public Services of Telecommunications at the Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações – ANATEL, in various positions, from 2005 to 2011. National Secretary of Telecommunications of the Ministry of Communications – MC from 2011 to 2016 , National Secretary of Informatics Policy of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications – MCTIC from 2016 to 2017 and CEO of Telecomunicações Brasileiras SA TELEBRÁS from 2017 to 2018.

He is currently the National Secretary of Technological Development and Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications - MCTIC.
