Mr Jerome Louis is a Chartered Engineer of the UK Engineering Council. He holds a Masters in Regulation and Policy (Telecommunications) from the University of West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago, a Masters in Telecommunications Engineering from University of Melbourne, Australia, as well as a First Class BEng (Hons) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Mauritius. He joined the Authority as Trainee Engineer in February 2003. He was appointed Director of Engineering as from December 2004. Mr Louis has 13 years of experience in ICT regulation and especially in the management of the radio spectrum. He has also worked in the industry for around three years where he was General Manager of a company involved with the provisioning of wireless ICT services.
