Ms. Sonja Lukic is a public and regulatory affairs professional with the extensive experience from telecom and digital industries in CEE and Asia.

From 2018 Sonja holds Director’s role within the team of Public and Regulatory Affairs, part of the External Relations for Asia. Prior to this role, Sonja served as the Director of Public and Regulatory Affair in Telenor in Montenegro and Serbia. From 2011 until 2018 she gained ample experience in public and regulatory affairs in Serbia and Montenegro in the fields of telecom regulation, electronic identification and digital identity, consumer protection and privacy. During this period she held several lead roles within the business associations in Serbia, supporting industry advocacy, policy reform and technology advancements for telecommunication and digital services sectors. She gained international experience through Telenor’s EU and Western Balkan engagements.

From 2009 till 2011 Sonja was an Advisor to the Minister of Telecommunication and Information Society, where she was responsible for the shaping the broadband strategy for Serbia and was a lead in EU negotiations in the field of electronic communications.

She holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Sheffield, as well as Master of Science degree in Telecommunications, University of Belgrade.
