He has been appointed as the Chief-Secretary to the Board of Commissioners at the Chairman’s Office, Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC), Mongolia from 2012, and joined as Director-General of Department since 2008.


Prior to joining the CRC he was researcher, senior officer, Vice-Director, Director-General at various Government organizations as civil servant such as National Development Board, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Infrastructure and Development, Post and ICT Authority, Mongolia. .


He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of the info-communications and ICT. With his extensive knowledge of ICT, he has worked in many national and sector development initiatives of the country. He has also actively participated and presented paper, chaired sessions in a number of regional and international conferences, seminars on ICT development Policy and Regulations, Digital economy, Space communications, AI, IoT, and standardization such as Smart Cities. .


He holds an M.Eng in Telecommunications from Asian Institute of Technology (www.ait.ac.th), Thailand, and obtained Ph.D. degree in Information Networks from Mongolian University of Science and Technology-MUST (www.must.edu.mn). In the academic field, he is Associate Professor in the School of ICT, MUST. .


Dr.Naranmandakh has presented many papers including co-rapporteur of CG for Asia-Pacific Tele-Community (APT), UPU, APNIC, and speaker/panelist the ITU, UNESCAP, UNOOSA, APT high level events as the Government representative with credentials. .
