Ravi is a telecoms regulatory and policy specialist with extensive international experience, particularly in emerging and frontier markets. He leads American Tower’s Public Affairs function in EMEA with overall responsibility for government relations, public policy, regulatory and CSR in the region. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the United States Telecommunication Training Institute.

Before joining American Tower, Ravi worked as Associate General Counsel, Africa & Asia at VEON in Amsterdam where he advised on a broad range of legal, regulatory and compliance matters. Prior to that, he worked as an associate at leading global law firms, including Sidley Austin and Mayer Brown.

Ravi holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from De Montfort University in the UK, an LLM in European Business Law from Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands and an MSc in International Strategy and Diplomacy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
