Maxim Naidoo is currently Executive Head of Technical Regulation at Vodacom in South Africa, and has occupied various technology roles in the organisation over the last 2 decades. He has previously led teams in development, research and systems architecture disciplines. Having been involved in the launch of industry firsts, such as Prepaid, 3G, 4G and 5G, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the regulatory space.

Prior to joining Vodacom, he worked for a number of a years for a leading telco vendor, and obtained first-hand experience with service development and deployment from the ground up, with his working spanning multiples countries. He is passionate about connecting people, and his work has helped to transform the lives of many communities by making world-class mobile technology more accessible to the masses.

Maxim holds a BSc.Eng. (Electronic) degree from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal as well as an M.Eng (Engineering Management) degree from the University of Pretoria. He is also a member of the Engineering Council of South Africa and holds the title of Pr. Eng.

When not working, Maxim enjoys spending time with his family, and uncovering new travel experiences.
