Ms. Souhila Amazouz is a Senior ICT Policy Officer; she works for the Information Society Division within the African Union Commission (AUC), where she contributes to the elaboration and formulation of continental policies, strategies and regulations on issues related to ICTs, Radio Communications and Emerging Digital Issues, currently she is the project manager for PRIDA / part related to Harmonization of ICT Policies and Regulations and also a member of the Panafricaine task force on digital infrastructure within the framework of implementation of the Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA) .
Before joining the AUC, she worked more than 15 years with the Algerian Broadcasting Corporation as a Chief Engineer specialized in radio spectrum management and design of the National Digital Terrestrial TV Network.
Ms. Souhila Amazouz holds a Master on Contemporary Diplomacy with specialization on Internet Governance and Cybersecurity as well as a State Engineer Diploma on Telecommunications.
