Anne-Rachel Inné is the Executive Director Government Affairs and Public Policy at the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN). ARIN is a non profit in charge of distributing Internet number ressources to Canada, the US and about 26 Caribbean and North Atlantic Islands. As Executive Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy she oversees and maintains relationships with governments and key intergovernmental organizations for ARIN, working closely with the President of ARIN to accomplish the external mission, goals, and strategic plan of the company.

Anne-Rachel has been a leader and an advocate of technology for sustainability in the Internet industry since 1997, leading multi disciplinary teams that built community rural radios, Internet backbones in several African countries, helping industry integrate new technologies in their work, creating sustainable community projects in all sectors using Internet and ICTs, that help people better their lives and helped women and youth organisations be part of the upcoming change.

Anne-Rachel is part of the team that wrote to Continental Education Strategy for Africa, integrating distance education at all levels (2016) and a founding member of most Internet related organisations in Africa. She worked 12 years at the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), helping build outreach to underserved areas, fostering the dissemination of Internationalised domain names (IDNs), and build the organisation to what it is today. She has been recognised several times for her work towards the technical community and fostering appropriate awareness and appropriation of new technologies for sustainability. Ms. Inné holds an MA in Litterature, an MBA in International Management.
