Mikael is leading research and development of web accessibility solutions to monitor progress and to collect user feedback. Mikael is also pursuing a novel approach to connect texts with dictionaries to improve readability, recently provided for Termcoord.eu. He has participated in international accessibility research since 2004. Current projects include the Mobile Age (Horizon 2020) and the INDVIL project (Research Council of Norway). The projects deliver accessibility evaluations and solutions to monitor and report on web accessibility, based on WCAG and on the European Web Accessibility Directive. Mikael has also taught ICT and inclusion topics at the TU Wien, and at the University of Agder (Norway), and provided related policy advise for the European Commission, and the United Nations. He will present a solution for simplified monitoring and a way to connect in depth monitoring and a feedback mechanism for accessibility problems, on day 1 of the conference, session 4 "Web Accessibility: Regulation/Standards/Resources".
