Ayse Zoodsma-Sungur is a senior payments and financial market infrastructure expert at Dutch Central Bank (DNB). Ayse is currently working on topics of digital innovations and accessibility, central bank digital currency and implications of new technologies affecting the financial sector and the end users. Ayse has 18 years of experience in the regulatory, supervisory and payments area with a strong background in policy development and thematic research on innovations, digitalisation and their influence on the efficiency of financial markets. Prior to joining the Payments and market infrastructure division at the end of 2017, Ayse served as a visiting member at the Committee for Payments and Market Infrastructures at the Bank for International Settlements in Switzerland. Ayse holds a bachelors and masters degrees in Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
