TO THE ADMINISTRATIONS OF MEMBERS OF THE ITU

Proposed adoption of 4 draft new or revised Recommendations
proposed by the CMTT at its meeting from 19 to 20 April 1993

1.	At the meeting of the CMTT, held from 19 to 20 April 1993, the Study 
Group unanimously approved the texts of 4 draft new or revised 
Recommendations and agreed to apply the procedure of Resolution 97 for 
approval of Recommendations between Plenary Assemblies to these 
Recommendations.  The titles of these Recommendations are given in Annex 1.

2.	Having regard to the provisions of Resolution 97 (see CCIR 
Administrative Circular A.C. 306 dated 17 August 1990), I should be grateful
if you would inform me by 7 September 1993, whether your Administration
accepts or rejects the proposal to adopt these draft Recommendations.

3.	A copy of this letter is being sent for information to the recognized 
operating agencies, scientific or industrial organizations and international 
organizations participating in the work of the CMTT.

4.	A Member who proposes that a draft new or revised Recommendation be 
rejected is requested to state the reason and indicate possible amendments
in order to facilitate further consideration by the Study Group during the
study period.

5.	After the above-mentioned deadline, the Director of the 
Radiocommunication Bureau will notify the results of this consultation by 
administrative circular and make arrangements for the Recommendations to be 
published in accordance with CCIR Resolution 24.
