Standard rates
The standard subscription order period is twelve months and covers ten issues. The standard
subscription rate is CHF100.
Members rates
Member States and Sector Members may receive up to five complimentary copies per issue under
the condition that all five copies are sent to a single address in a single dispatch. For this
purpose, the name and address details of the contact point should be indicated on the
subscription form.
Additional subscriptions will be charged at the preferential rate of CHF 85. Readers
subscribing in their individual capacity, as staff of a Telecommunication administration of a
Member State or of a Sector Member of the ITU will also benefit from these discounted rates.
Least Developed Countries (LDCs)
Least Developed Countries (LDCs) will be granted a special rate of CHF 20 per annum.

Payment method
Payments should be made in Swiss francs (CHF):
a) by credit card: American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa
b) by bank transfer to the UBS SA, Geneva, Account No. 240-C8-765.565.0
c) by cheque made payable to ITU
d) by international postal order
e) to the ITU postal cheque account: ITU, Geneva, 12-50-3 (from within Switzerland).
Please indicate clearly that the payment is for ITU News.
Dispatch
The subscription rates quoted above include an airmail delivery service. Complimentary
subscriptions are dispatched by surface mail. However, upon payment of CHF 30 per year they can
also be sent by airmail. Customs duties and other taxes or dues levied on imported goods are not
borne by ITU.
Missing issues
Replacement copies will be sent, when reasonable claims are received within two months of the
publication date of the missing issue. Beyond this period, a minimum fee, to be advised by ITU,
may be charged.
Return of faulty issues
Where a copy of ITU News, found to be faulty, is returned to ITU, the latter's responsibility
shall be limited to replacement of the copy and payment of the costs arising from such
replacement. Any faulty copy returned must reach ITU within two (2) months from the date of its
dispatch to the customer.
Change of address
An advance notice of two weeks is needed to ensure that copies reach the new address when
required. Please e-mail us with your new address details as well as your last order and invoice
number at: itunews@itu.int.
The placing of an order implies full acceptance of these general conditions of sale.
