FINAL ACTS OF THE WORLD RADIOCOMMUNICATION CONFERENCE (ISTANBUL, 2000)

  • The Government of Japan has accepted the above-mentioned Final Acts.

  • The instrument of acceptance was deposited with the Secretary-General on 23 April 2002.

CHANGES

  • The State of Bahrain has changed its name and is now called Kingdom of Bahrain.

  • VIAG Interkom GmbH & Co., which participates in the work of the Radiocommunication and Standardization Sectors, has changed its name. The new denomination is O2 Germany GmbH & Co. OHG.

NEW MEMBERS

Radiocommunication Sector

  •  Agence Nationale des Fréquences (Tunis) and Vodafone-Libertel N.V. (Maastricht, Kingdom of the Netherlands) have been admitted to take part in the work of this Sector.

Telecommunication Standardization Sector

  •  NetTest (Créteil, France) has been admitted to take part in the work of this Sector.

Telecommunication Development Sector

  •  JSC “Ukrtelecom” (Kyiv, Ukraine) and Warsun International Communications Corporation (Vienna, VA) have been admitted to take part in the work of this Sector.

NEW ASSOCIATES

Radiocommunication Sector

  • Iceland Telecom Ltd (Reykjavik) has been admitted to take part in the work of Study Group 6, as from 1 April 2003.

Telecommunication Standardization Sector

  • FIBERPRO Donam Systems Inc. (Taejon, Republic of Korea) and Network Elements, Inc. (Beaverton, OR) have been admitted to take part in the work of Study Group 15.

  • Iceland Telecom Ltd (Reykjavik) and Opti-com GmbH (Erlangen, Federal Republic of Germany) have been admitted to take part in the work of Study Group 12. Participation of Iceland Telecom Ltd will become effective from 1 April 2003.

  • NMG Télécoms (Mulhouse, France) has been admitted to take part in the work of Study Group 2.
