He serves as Chair of the MPEG Audio Subcommittee of the Information Technology Standards Commission of Japan and Chair of the ARIB Audio Coding Technology WG, contributing to next-generation audio and broadcasting standards.\r\n\r\nWith more than three decades of experience in audio technology, he has contributed to the development of audio coding systems, 3D audio technologies, and international standards for digital media.
