Jean-Pierre Faisan is Board member of Broadcast Networks Europe (BNE), the European association of broadcast networks operators, where he is representing TDF and chairing BNE Communications working group.\n\nHe has 38 years of engineering, operational and managerial experience in the fields of terrestrial broadcasting and mobile networks and spoke at several ITU workshops on \u201cthe Future of Television in Europe\u201d (2019, 2021).\n\nSince 2013, he is founder and managing director of Leader Wave, a consultancy specializing on spectrum advocacy and telecoms strategy.\n\nHe is a graduate in engineering from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) and in telecommunications from Telecom Paris and holds a ICCF@HEC certificate in corporate finance.<\/div><\/div>

Since 2015, he has led the Application Coding Working Group of the Brazilian Digital TV System Forum (SBTVD) and serves as editor of the ABNT standards for TV 2.5 and TV 3.0 on middleware and application coding.\r\n\r\nHis research focuses on application-oriented broadcasting, second-screen integration, audience measurement, and privacy-aware media platforms for next-generation digital television.<\/div><\/div>

Adrian Murtaza is a researcher and Chief Technology and Standardization Manager at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, where he works in the field of audio and media technologies.\u00a0His research focuses on immersive and interactive audio systems, audio coding, and the deployment of next-generation audio technologies.\r\n\r\nHe joined MPEG in 2013 and has since contributed to the development of numerous audio standards. He has also played an active role in the standardization efforts of DVB, ATSC, SBTVD, and ARIB, helping shape broadcasting and media technologies.\u00a0Through close collaboration with broadcasters and service providers worldwide, he has helped bring advanced audio technologies into commercial deployment.<\/div><\/div>

Andy Quested started at the BBC in 1978 becoming a video-tape editor in 1985 working on many children\u2019s programmes, documentary and comedy series\u00a0including\u00a0every episode of the comedy Keeping Up Appearances! \u00a0He also worked on the introduction of non-linear editing, stereo and widescreen.\n\nAndy introduced the technology for first HD and first UHD programmes, Planet Earth 1 & II. \u00a0 At the EBU Andy led the production strategic programme and continues to lead the EBU QC group.\n\nAs chair of ITU WP 6C, Andy initiated work on Advanced Immersive Media, AI, Energy Aware Broadcasting, Componentized Content and led the group that developed the 2023 Emmy winning HDR-TV standard. Andy co-chaired the group on the Future of Broadcasting and led the work on the Future of Broadcast Production.<\/div><\/div>

Dr David Fern\u00e1ndez Quijada leads the foresight practice at South 180, as well as the projects that sit at the intersection of media distribution and technology, working for broadcasters, media regulators, digital media, and trade bodies across Europe.\r\n\r\nFrom 2018 to 2021, he was the Head of Media Intelligence at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Prior to this, he lectured at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in Spain, focusing on public service media, communication policies and technology adoption. He was also an invited researcher at the CSP ICT innovation centre in Turin, Italy, and at Leeds University in the UK.<\/div><\/div>

She has an international background with over 15 years as Project Manager on Future Television Technologies in the Technology & Innovation Department at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and Product Manager for Arvato Systems\u00b4 Media Asset Management System.\n\nYvonne is active in various industry bodies (e.g. as former SMPTE Education Director and Governor EMEA & Latin America and elevated as SMPTE Fellow) and works together with DTG members to explore the best viewing experience and strategies to move to an IP world.\n\nShe hold degrees in Television Technologies and Electronic Media Engineering from University of applied Science Wiesbaden as well as a Master of Arts in Economics and Management and received a prominent award of the ARD\/ZDF Academy for her thesis in September 2011 at the IFA in Berlin. At NAB 2017 Yvonne was presented with the annual Technology Women to Watch Award from TVNews Check.<\/div><\/div>
