Around 2000 people strengthened their digital skills through the Smart Villages and Smart Islands initiative.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The first pilot Smart Village in the Asia and the Pacific Region was launched in Gokina, Pakistan.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Under the Girls in ICT Day activities, more than 2200 girls and young women in the region enhanced their digital skills.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

To strengthen the digital skills of persons with disabilities, a training was organized in Pakistan. The training was delivered by visually impaired trainers who themselves are living proof of the transformative power of digital skills.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
