WTDC-25 is open<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p>Participation to the World Telecommunication Development Conference&nbsp;is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/itu-d\/meetings\/wtdc25\/participation\/admission\/\">restricted to ITU Membership<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p>Advance registration is mandatory, following these steps:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/hub\/membership\/user-account-ties\/\">Create an ITU user account<\/a>&nbsp;(if you already have an account, go to step 2): When creating an ITU user account affiliated to an ITU Member, users must obtain approval of their affiliation from the corresponding TIES Focal Point prior to submitting a registration request.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/net4\/CRM\/xreg\/web\/Registration.aspx?Event=C-00015001\">Register here&nbsp;<\/a>: Log in with your ITU user account credentials and complete the corresponding registration request form. Dubai, 2018);<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Representatives of&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/hub\/membership\/our-members\/directory\/?myitu-members-directory=true&amp;request=search-companies&amp;sector=ITU-D&amp;type=SEC_MEMBER&amp;category=FDI,SIO,ROA,OTHER%20ENTITY,REGINTORG\">ITU-D Sector Members&nbsp;<\/a><\/strong>;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><strong>Observers, to participate in an advisory capacity<\/strong>:<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>the organizations and agencies referred to in Nos. 269A to 269D of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/pub\/S-CONF-PLEN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ITU Convention<\/a>;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>any other regional organization or other international organization dealing with matters of interest to the World Telecommunication Development Conference.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p>Finally, pursuant to resolves 4 of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/pub\/S-CONF-PLEN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Resolution 169 (Rev. Bucharest, 2022)<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/hub\/membership\/our-members\/directory\/?myitu-academia=true&amp;request=academia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Academia<\/strong><\/a><sup>1<\/sup>&nbsp;shall also be admitted to the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2025, as an&nbsp;<strong>observer in a non-advisory capacity<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p>In accordance with&nbsp;Article 33 of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/pub\/S-CONF-PLEN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ITU Convention<\/a>, CV\/476:\u200b<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p>\u201c\u2026The organizations referred to in Nos. 269A to 269E of this Convention and other organizations also specified in Chapter II thereof (unless they have been exempted by the Council, subject to reciprocity) and Sector Members referred to in No. 230 of this Convention which participate, in accordance with the provisions of this Conv\u200bention, in a plenipotentiary conference, in a conference, assembly or meeting of a Sector of the Union, or in a world conference on international telecommunications, shall share in defraying the expenses of the conferences, assemblies and meetings in which they participate on the basis of the cost of these conferences and meetings and in accordance with the Financial Regulations.
