The decision criteria to grant a fellowship include:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>available ITU budget;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>equitable distribution among countries and regions;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>gender balance and the inclusion of persons with disabilities and persons with specific needs.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p>Subject to availability of funds, <strong>one full fellowship or two partial fellowships<\/strong> may be awarded per eligible Member State of the concerned region.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p>To request a fellowship, the participant must&nbsp;<strong>first&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/net4\/ITU-D\/CDS\/meetings\/registration\/index.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>register to the meeting(s)<\/strong><\/a><strong> and obtain focal point approval.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p>The deadline for fellowships is outlined in the table below.
