{"id":127,"date":"2026-02-23T09:25:11","date_gmt":"2026-02-23T09:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/itu-d\/meetings\/tdag-26\/?page_id=127"},"modified":"2026-02-24T16:04:15","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T16:04:15","slug":"fellowships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/itu-d\/meetings\/tdag-26\/home\/participation\/fellowships\/","title":{"rendered":"Fellowships"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subject to availability of funds,&nbsp;<strong>one full fellowship or two partial fellowships<\/strong>&nbsp;may be awarded per eligible Member State to participate in the TDAG Meeting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please refer to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/en\/fellowships\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ITU Fellowships Portal<\/a>&nbsp;for the Policy for awarding fellowships for events and activities funded through the ITU regular budget and for the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/en\/fellowships\/Documents\/2026\/ListEligibleCountries2026.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">list of&nbsp;Member States eligible<\/a>&nbsp;to receive ITU fellowships.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The decision criteria to grant a fellowship include:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>available ITU budget;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>equitable distribution among countries and regions;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>gender balance and the inclusion of persons with disabilities and persons with specific needs;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>to ensure good governance in the use of fellowships, any one individual may not be awarded more than one full fellowship, or two partial fellowships in a financial year. In this respect, the amount granted to any one individual shall not exceed ten thousand (10 000) Swiss Francs in a financial year.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Member States wishing to apply for an ITU fellowship must not have any type of debt related to the contributions derived from their contributory unit, except those who have agreed to a repayment plan and are in compliance with their obligations.
