Venue Location

WTDC-25 will be held at Baku Convention Center, situated in the heart of Baku. (Google Maps location)

Upon arrival to the Baku Convention Center, you will find a detailed digital conference venue map.

This map will outline: registration and information counters, main session halls and breakout rooms, networking areas, lounges, and refreshment zones, emergency exits and restrooms, nearby facilities such as cafes and restaurants.

Getting There

Six local transport hubs (final locations to be confirmed) will lie within a 2–5 minute walk of each official hotel. From the moment you arrive, clear, standardized signage at the airport arrival area and at official hotels will point you in the right direction.

Booking Rooms

The ITU Secretariat manages the meeting rooms for WTDC-25 at the Baku Convention Center (BCC) in Baku. Delegations are kindly asked to contact the Room Reservations Service at conf-logistics@itu.int to reserve a room.

Please note that meeting facilities are primarily allocated to the work of the conference. To ensure the limited number of meeting rooms are made available fairly, the following conditions apply:

  • All requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Each delegation is restricted to 2 non-consecutive slots of 1.5 hours per day separated by at least 1.5 hour per entity per day
  • Meeting rooms cannot be booked as working space or office suites
  • Requests will be processed in the following order of precedence:
    • WTDC-25 Committees and related working/drafting groups
    • Member States and Regional Organizations
    • Other entities

Please be aware that an advance reservation may therefore be cancelled and rescheduled depending on the number and nature of requests received. Many thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Airport

The Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) is distant of 20 km from Baku.

Customs & Docs

Have your passport, visa (or e-visa confirmation), WTDC-25 registration, travel insurance, and health documentation ready.

Transport Options

Taxis/Ride-Sharing: Licensed taxis; apps (Bolt, Yango, Uber) provide fare estimates.

Shuttle Services: WTDC-25 Organizers will arrange dedicated shuttle services for the registered participants staying at the 14 official hotels only. Look out for the shuttle signage at the airport arrivals area.

Public Transport: Baku Metro and Baku Buses are also available.

Complimentary shuttle buses will operate between Heydar Aliyev International Airport and hotels on November 15, 16, and 17 for arrivals, and on November 27, 28, and 29 for departures.

Visa
