In such cases, an ID photograph of the registered VIP must be sent in advance to the registration service at: <a href=\"mailto:BDTMeetingsRegistration@itu.int\">BDTMeetingsRegistration@itu.int<\/a>.<br>The photograph should be in JPEG format (passport model with neutral, white background).<br>\u00a0<br>The VIP badge will then be handed over to the entourage with a distinctive VIP lanyard.    <\/p>\n                                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                                       \n            <div class=\"accordion-card\">\n            <button class=\"accordion-card_header\">\n                <p class=\"accordion-card_title\">Protocol courtesy services provided by the Host Country<\/p>\n            <\/button>\n            <div class=\"panel\">\n                <div class=\"accordion-card_body\">\n                                                <p>\n        The following courtesy services are provided by the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye to attending VIPs in the <strong>MIN category<\/strong> <strong>only<\/strong> (as defined above). The same will be applied to DMIN category only if the Minister (MIN) is not attending.<br>\u00a0<br><strong>Access to the VIP lounge at the Ankara Esenbo\u011fa Airport (ESB)<\/strong><br>The Airport VIP Lounge will only be made available for 1\u00a0(one) VIP of the (MIN) category per country\/delegation, for their arrival and departure.<br>\u00a0<br>The eligible VIP, welcomed through the VIP Airport Lounge, will be met at the door of the airplane and transported to the lounge by vehicle. A maximum of 1 (one) VIP\u00a0will be able to be transported to the lounge.<br>The Airport VIP Lounge staff will greet the VIP in the lounge.<br>Passport control and luggage retrieval will be handled by the Airport VIP Lounge services.<br>\u00a0<br>IMPORTANT NOTES:<br>The itinerary and other pertinent information of the eligible VIP requesting the VIP Airport Lounge service needs to be provided as soon as possible, and\u00a0<strong>no later than<\/strong> 4 May 2026, to <a>the ITU Protocol service through <\/a><a href=\"mailto:protocol.service@itu.int\">protocol.service@itu.int<\/a>.<br>For departure, the eligible VIP should be present at the airport between 1.5 and 2 hours before scheduled take-off to complete all formalities.<br>\u00a0<br><strong>Transportation<\/strong><br>Upon request, for 1\u00a0(one) VIP of the (MIN) category per country\/delegation, a designated car and driver will be provided for the duration of their stay during GSR-26, to transport them between the airport, hotel, GSR-26 venue and Gala Dinner Venue (excluding excursions outside Ankara). This service begins on arrival and ends on departure from the Airport VIP Lounge (see above). It is also available for countries with diplomatic representation in Ankara.<br>The request should be done to the ITU Protocol service through <a href=\"mailto:protocol.service@itu.int\">protocol.service@itu.int<\/a>, and\u00a0<strong>no later than<\/strong> <strong>4 May 2026<\/strong>, to ensure this service is afforded.<br>IMPORTANT NOTES:<br>The above-described service is not transferrable. Once an eligible VIP has left the Conference, the car cannot be transferred to anyone within their delegation (even to a Deputy Minister).<br>A maximum of a VIP +1 will be able to accompany the eligible VIP in the car.<br>\u00a0<br><strong>Liaison Officer<\/strong><br>For one (1) VIP in the Ministerial (MIN) category per country\/delegation, a Liaison Officer will be assigned for the duration of their stay during GSR-26 to facilitate coordination and support their official engagements.<br><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br><strong>Access to the conference centre for VIPs<\/strong><br>A designated VIP drop-off\/pick-up point and limited vehicle waiting area will be made available at the GSR-26 venue. As a security measure, all VIP participants are required to wear a photo badge and to use the security badge scanning equipment when accessing the venue.
