The ITU organizes World Radiocommunication Seminars (WRS) on a biennial basis, in complement to the cycle of Regional Radiocommunication Seminars (RRS). WRS deals with the use of the radio-frequency spectrum and the satellite orbits, and, in particular, with the application of the provisions of the ITU Radio Regulations.
WRS-20 sessions will be organized in two parts as described below:
1) WRS-20 Plenary Sessions: 30 November to 4 December 2020
First Week is Open to Non-ITU Members!
In addition to ITU Members, anyone in the radiocommunication community is welcome to join this series of free, open, learning-oriented webinars.
All you need to know about the ITU Radiocommunication Sector! Learn about ITU-R's history, structure, study groups & hot topics covered. Also get an overview of the regulatory framework for terrestrial and space radiocommunication services including frequency allocations, software & tools.
Online daily sessions of 3 hours / twice a day to accommodate participants located in various time zones. You can find out more on event program here.
