Did you know that intensive lifestyle interventions can reduce the incidence of diabetes by as much as 58 per cent? That lifestyle changes could be more effective than some commonly used diabetes medication? That prevention or delay of diabetes by lifestyle changes can persist for at least 10 years? 
This guide was put together by an international group of experts who propose the use of mHealth at a population level as an effective way to achieve behaviour change, especially in lower- and middle-income countries where mobile phone use is growing exponentially and transmission is inexpensive.
