ITU-D Network of Women Walk2Connect Walkathon

All delegates were invited to join and connect at the ITU-D Network of Women
Walk2Connect, 7 km Walkathon, on Sunday 12 June 2022, from 07h30 – 11h00 CAT.
Walk2Connect took place from the
BK Arena to Kigali Heights and back to
BK Arena. See the

Transport was provided from official WTDC hotels at 6h30 CAT, to the starting point at the
BK Arena, and back to the hotels from the finishing point, BK Arena, after the event at 11h00. See the
transport schedule for reference.
Walk2Connect was held jointly with the Kigali Car-Free Day, providing a perfect opportunity for delegates to mingle with the local community in the Walkathon and to raise the awareness for a gender-responsive conference.
