Kensuke Hisatomi received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in applied physics from Waseda University, Japan in 1997 and 1999, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in information science and technology from the University of Tokyo in 2016. He joined NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation), Japan in 1999. From 2003 to 2007, he was with the Engineering Administration Department, NHK, where he was involved in the development of digital broadcasting. He has been with Science & Technology Research Laboratories, NHK since 2007. He was a visiting researcher with Surrey University, UK from 2010 to 2011. His current research interests include augmented reality and virtual reality.
