Dr. David Dai is a professor as well as a technical director of Fiberhome, and Fiberhome is one of the most famous telecommunication products manufacturers in China. He has worked in computer and network area for more 30 years and He has won two awards of China Major Invention. As a technical director, Dr. David Dai has led research for more than 10 large-scale research projects and development for more than 10 products related to communication and network, in addition, he has applied about 40 patents that are relevant to communication and network. As a processor, he has published more than 30 technical papers and has been the tutor for 20 graduate students. Dr. David Dai has participated Recommendation studying in ITU-T for about 10 years, He has submitted more than 100 contributions to ITU-T and he is one of editors for eight published Recommendations. At present, Dr. David Dai is Q7 Rapporteur of ITU-T SG13, and Q7/13 focuses on studying deep packet inspection, network intelligence and other technologies that are related to deep packet inspection and network intelligence. |
