Summary - Y.2352 (04/2026) - Network capability enhancement for distributed artificial intelligent computing centres in next generation network evolution

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), an increasing number of computing-intensive tasks require uploading massive data to artificial intelligent computing centres (AICCs) or transferring it across AICCs which require coordination among distributed AICCs. This brings new demands and challenges to network transmission in terms of bandwidth, latency and reliability.
Recommendation ITU-T Y.2352 provides scenarios, network enhancement requirements and the architecture of network capability enhancement for distributed AICCs in next generation network evolution (NGNe) to accommodate these challenges.
