Summary - X.1821 (06/2026) - Guidelines and technical requirements for the analysis of IMT-2020/5G network asset security risk

Recommendation ITU-T X.1821 describes the necessity of conducting security risk analysis for IMT2020/5G network assets during the operation and maintenance phase and identifies the gaps in current practices. Based on this analysis, Recommendation ITU-T X.1821 specifies technical requirements and guidelines for IMT-2020/5G network asset security risk analysis, namely vulnerability detection, security baseline verification and asset security event analysis.
