Summary

Recommendation ITU-T Q.3957 aims to specify the interoperability testing suite for cloud-based control plane and pooled user plane of virtualized broadband network gateway (vBNG), which is based on the signalling requirements of vBNG in ITU-T Q.4143. As a background, this Recommendation gives an overview of interoperability testing between vBNG control plane (vBNG-CP) and vBNG pooled user plane (vBNG-PUP). Then, this Recommendation deals with interoperability testing of two target areas, including the interoperability testing between vBNG-CP and vBNG-PUP, interoperability testing between vBNG-PUPs, all the test cases are designed around these two target areas.
