This Recommendation describes a methodology for evaluating the subjective quality of signal and spatial localization in stereo telecommunication systems. The methodology assesses the quality of the stereo transmission chain using separate subjective rating scales to independently estimate the subjective quality of a Signal, the Spatial Localization, and the Overall Quality.
