Summary - L.1510 (10/2025) - Environmental key performance indicators for digital infrastructure adapting to climate change

Recommendation ITU-T L.1510 defines key performance indicators (KPIs) for assessing the environmental impact of digital infrastructures, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, water usage, power supply, ecosystem effects, waste management and indirect enablement of GHG emission reduction. It specifies unified methodologies for KPI calculation and reporting, enabling harmonized, transparent and comparable sustainability assessment across the industry.
