Summary - G.7716 (11/2025) - Architecture of management and control operations

Recommendation ITU-T G.7716 addresses the architecture of management and control operations. This Recommendation provides guidance for service providers on the transport network plan, initialization, performing typical operations and maintenance in the network.
This revision mainly contains the following updates:
–Provide a lifecycle overview of this Recommendation in clause 6.
–Reorganize the chapter structure based on the lifecycle defined in clause 6.
–Add clause 10 to provide detailed descriptions on the processes of optimization operation.
