Administration and Management The second day of the Council saw its Standing Committee on Administration and Management (ADM) hold its first meeting. This issue of the Highlights covers some of the presentations made on money matters. ADM will hold its second meeting the whole day on 16 April 2010. The conclusions reached in the Committee will be submitted to the Plenary next week for the approval of the Council. Suspension/Removal of ITU Sector Members and Associates Document C10/33 The Secretariat presented Document C10/33 proposing the Suspension/Removal of ITU Sector Members and Associates. The Committee noted this document with no further comments. Arrears and special arrears accounts Document C10/30 The Secretariat presented Document C10/30 related to arrears and special arrears accounts. Concerns were expressed by various delegations regarding measures currently taken with a view to recovering arrears which could be improved on. Clarification was requested on whether, before the write-off of interest/debts, the respective Members have fulfilled their pre-agreed criteria. The Committee endorsed the document and the write-off of CHF 286.926,15. In addition to Document C10/30, the contribution from the Russian Federation in Document C10/56 proposed the introduction of advance contribution settlement for new Sector Members and Associates. Cost Recovery for the processing of satellite network filings Document C10/14 The Secretariat presented Document C10/14 on the status of implementation of cost recovery for the processing of satellite network filings. As Decision 482 (Council 2005) and Decision 482 MOD (Council 2008) have not raised any implementation difficulties, the Secretariat proposed to include the status report for implementation of cost recovery for the processing of satellite network filings in the same document that already contained the arrears situation. This proposal was approved. The Committee noted this document. Unaudited Financial Operating Report for the biennium 2008/2009 Document C10/31 The Secretariat presented Document C10/31 on the unaudited Financial Operating report for the biennium 2008/2009. The Committee noted this document with no further comments.
