Andreas Weber

Andreas Weber is the head of director-generals office and senior expert for telecommunications, postal services and mining. In his position, he works strongly together with the main stakeholders of Austria\u2019s industry and economy to further promote the extractive industry and digitalisation for the whole directorate general. After the successful completion of his PhD-studies in material sciences at Montanuniversit\u00e4t Leoben, Andreas Weber worked as technical project manager for Hirtenberger Automotive Safety GmbH. Thereafter, he was very much involved with Austrian politics and held several positions as deputy head of cabinet, chief digital officer and advisor for research, innovation and digitalisation for the ministers of the federal ministry of transport, innovation and technology. Andreas Weber is able to apply his expertise in various supervisory board mandates, for example the austrian regulatory authority for broadcasting and telecommunications or the austrian research promotion agency FFG.\u200b<\/p>\n<\/div><\/blockquote>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n
