Abstract 

Session 3: Interworking in Multi-Protocol based network Environements

Abstract

Based on brief review of Network Evolution trends and current situation, this presentation explained interworking requirements from Network and Service aspects. These requirements are based on interworking architecture, which developed by ITU-T SG13 Q1/13 giving general architectural guide. Then this presentation delivered little more detailed information for interworking in MPLS environments, which is recognized as a typical example of multi-Protocol based network today.


Biography

C.S. LEE joined KT R&D Group from 1986 after finishing Master course in Kon-Kuk University computer science Lab. After joining KT Corp., he involved in N-ISDN, ATM/B-ISDN projects in a company also in national project until 1995. Then he involved in KII (Korea Information Infrastructure) project for government network applications as well as xDSL based broadband project until 1999. From 2000, he moved his position in KT Geneva Liaison office to get more involvement on his international activity mainly with ITU-T. He start his ITU activity from 1987 in SGXVIII, he is now one of vice-chairman of SG13 and chairman of WP2/13.
