Session 7 - SIP Priority Resources

Abstract
This presentation describes a new SIP header field for communications resource priority, called "Resource-Priority".
This header field influences the behavior of gateways, User Agents and SIP Servers (Proxies, Redirect). It does
not influence the forwarding behavior of IP routers.
This is a fairly broad purpose Header extension to SIP that can be utilized in many scenarios, ETS being one
of these such scenarios.
