Session 1 - Telecommunications for Disaster Relief in Canada

Abstract
Mr Skora's presentation gives a broad overview of Canadian legislation and policies, the Canadian
government’s role in emergency preparedness and the initiatives in which the government is currently
involved and plays an important part. It also takes a look at the problems and difficulties faced and future needs.
