Mr Yun Sik Kwak is Visiting Professor of Medical Informatics and Medical Education in
Kyungpook National University School of Medicine, Daegu, Korea; Board Member of Korean
Society of Clinical Pathologists; President Elect of Korean Society of Medical Informatics;
Chairman of HL7-Korea; Member of American Medical Association; Deputy Commissioner for Far East
Civilian Laboratories of Laboratory Accreditation Program of College of American Pathologists;
Vice President of Asia Pacific Association of Medical Informatics (APAMI); Chairman of ISO TC 215,
Health Informatics.
Mr Kwak has an MD from Kyungpook National University School of Medicine and Ph.D. in Molecular
Biology and Pathology, Albany Medical College of the Union University, NY. He has more than 90
publications in molecular Biology, Laboratory Medicine and Medical Informatics and approximately
180 scientific abstracts
