CVs of the speakers
Dr Gunnar O Klein is an M.D., PhD from the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm ,
Sweden where he started the Centre for Health Telematics in 1996 with
research and teaching in a masters programme of Medical Informatics. Klein
has also a background as a systems developer and has worked with the
introduction of PKI in health and in general. He led the security group of
CEN/TC 251 Health informatics until 1997 when he became chairman of the
whole committee. He helped establish the ISO/TC 215 health informatics
committee where he has been the convenor of security working group since its
start.
