 Seminar - US Thunderbird School of Global Management

Introduction
On Wednesday 12 January 2011, ITU-T’s secretariat, TSB, welcomed a group of final year MBA students and two professors from the US Thunderbird School of Global Management, Glendale, AZ.

A seminar was organized covering the following topics:
  • ITU-T Overview and initiatives to involve Academia in the standardization process
  • Why and how do Corporations invest in standards development
  • Intellectual Property issues
  • ITU-T’s activities on ICTs and Climate Change
  • ITU-T Technology Watch
  • Career options for graduates in international organizations
Objective
  • Familiarize university students with ITU-T activities.
