This new ITU-T G.hn project extends the characteristics of the technology to address new requirements for new services and topologies. These new requirements are translated into new target rates (e.g., up to 10 Gbit/s in coax), new duplexing methods (Full Duplex) and RF capabilities in addition to general improvements of the technology.
