Summary: For development and strengthening of ITU activities in regard to management of e-waste, the private sector plays a very important role as a key driver for perpetually sustainable implementation of e-waste management, taking into consideration the needed collaboration between private and public sector to work collectively within the ecosystem. This Supplement provides a collection of sustainable models of e-waste management by active participation of Private Corporation; in socially responsible ways of handling e-waste and its re-use by environmentally sound systems of recycling. It highlights key success factors and best practices on sustainable ecosystem framework, collection mechanism, financial model, outreach approach and engagement with all relevant stakeholders.
