TSAG Correspondence Group on the Organization of the Standardization Round Table
Terms of Reference
This correspondence group will work by electronic means. It will be closed and replaced by the
Steering Committee when this one is created by the correspondence group.
Convenor : Jean-Yves Monfort , ITU-T SG12 Chair, France Telecom
The main tasks of the correspondence group are to respond to the Resolution 122:
- To define the detailed objectives of the Standardization Round Table, including the
choice of invitees; title of event, how to cooperate/collaborate with the SDOs and others, etc.
- Have a deadline to decide on the holding or not of the event (by June 1st )
- If there are enough substances, to propose the main topics that will be discussed during
the Standardization Round Table (not only technical issue but also procedural or digital divide issue).
If there are not enough materials, to stop the process
- To contribute to the build up of the steering committee.
- To make proposals for financing the event.
The steering committee will be in charge of the detailed program of the Standardization
Round Table and of the contents of the sessions and of the reports to be submitted to the WTSA.
He will be supported by TSB Staff, taking benefit of their experiences in organizing and promoting workshops.
