Introduction |

The overall goal of the MTNM (Multi-Technology Network Management) Focus Group is to provide
the necessary foundation by which the MTNM specifications can be aligned with and/or adapted
to the ITU-T Study Group 4 management architecture and frameworks.
The MTNM FG has been created in February 2005 in response to the request from the
TeleManagement Forum (TMF) to publish ITU-T Recommendations that reference the
MTNM v3.0 interface specifications. It is chartered under the provisions of
ITU-T Rec A.7. |

Objectives and Working Methods |
A description of the objectives and working methods of the MTNM FG is available in its
Terms of Reference (ToR) document.
The MTNM FG works primarily through conference calls. Information on previous and scheduled
calls and other information is available at the Web/FTP site.
