Study Group 17 relationships with ISO, IEC and ISO/IEC JTC 1
At the December 2007 TSAG meeting, Korea presented a contribution TSAG-C 36 on Enhancing collaboration among ITU-T, ISO and IEC.
The contribution contained in Annex an initial table providing the status of relationships between Questions of ITU-T Study Groups and TC/SCs of ISO, IEC and JTC 1.
SG 17 agreed to update the table and post and maintain this information on the ITU-T website.
Attention is drawn to the last column, not part of the contribution from Korea, which identifies the nature of the relationship as follows:
- A: joint work (e.g., common texts or twin texts)
- B: technical collaboration by liaison mechanism
- C: informational liaison
