As 'Lead Study Group' for IP-related matters within the
ITU-T, SG 13 considers it important that those involved, inside and
outside of the ITU-T, in the day-to-day development of standards related
to IP-based Networks and Services, have a commonly accessible platform for
sharing relevant standards documentation at an early stage. This hopefully
will assist in meeting the common goal of focussing standards development
on specific topics in a single standards body, avoiding duplication of
work, increasing cooperation between key Standards Development
Organizations (SDO) and, as a result, produce market oriented and timely
standards aligned across SDOs.
With this in mind the TSB Secretariat has set up a common FTP area, within
the SG 13 Web page, as a platform for the exchange of relevant standards
documentation. This FTP area is accessible to those members of SG 13 and
IETF, that are involved in developing related IP-based Networks and
Services standards.
To use this facility it is necessary to subscribe. Please contact your
relevant SG 13 Rapporteur or IETF WG chair to obtain the necessary
clearance.
