The main texts of the five modules of the course contain links to examples, annexes, and illustrations. Depending on the software used, students may encounter some problems; the text is optimised for access with Netscape. In case a link from the main module text should not work properly, the respective files can also be accessed directly by clicking on the respective item in the contents page of the module.

Each module contains a discussion topic. WhSOME TIPSen the course is run as in inter-active form, each student presents his or her views on the topic in a "virtual forum"; during individual studies, from CDROM or web, the topics provide suggestions on how to apply the theory just learned to the reality of one's own environment.

Each module also contains questions of the multiple-choice type. When the course is run on-line, with an instructor, such questions allow determining the progress of the students and certification of successful completion of the course. During studies from the CDROM or the non-interactive web page, the answers are available as the last item of each module, allowing the students to control their own progress.
